This is a scene from Avatar, James Cameron’s upcoming scifi/environmental parable. It absolutely delights me to see a shot like this in the trailer because it illustrates a James Cameron specialty - the thrill, wonder and awe of science.
Too much movie scifi obsesses over the dangers of science and what horrors it creates. James Cameron has always seen the beauty of it.
