Reason 2 Why House is Great:
In other shows, the hero learns something at the end of the episode. House usually learns something by the end of the episode, but 1) the audience isn’t sure that House learned anything, 2) House doesn’t let anybody know he learned something, 3) the people who are supposed to think he learned something think he learned, 4) the people who know him know he didn’t learn anything but secretly hope he did, 5) House pretends that he didn’t learn anything and doesn’t admit that he learned anything and 6) The audience still isn’t sure that House learned anything.
