Thankfully, I am just old enough to remember life before the internet, so lacking it won’t affect me as much as people younger than me.

My high school library didn’t even have an electronic database - I can even use a card catalog! I spent most of my earliest writing life using a Selectric that was heavy enough to kill you if it fell on you, and when you plugged it in and turned it on it hummed and shook the whole table. And that thing was state of the art!

I can see a lot of negative aspects, though. It’s nice to have a link to the sum total of all electronically-inputted human knowledge in my hand at all times, so it would suck to lose it.
