Today is the 71st wedding anniversary of my maternal grandparents! That’s Rose on the left and James on the right. It was the first marriage for both.
My grandmother died before I was born and my grandfather died when I was just a kid. They met later in life and loved each other a lot and without them I wouldn’t be here and my mom wouldn’t be here and my brothers wouldn’t be here and my sister wouldn’t be here and my cousins wouldn’t be here and my nephews wouldn’t be here my new niece Moriah wouldn’t be here, either.
Oh, I didn’t mention that? Yeah. She’s the best.
Anyway, happy anniversary, Jim and Rose, wherever you are.

He then simply walked out of the fort, through the deserted town, and to the address of an underground contact.

You can’t go and see this intersection anymore since it was destroyed in the 1980s so that the Parkway North could be built. The church is still there, although now it’s a hotel.
